This site represents one of the best decisions I’ve made to date. Luna’s Castle is a hostel in Panama City run by two of my good friends from middle school who, after college, moved to Panama and opened a hostel on the island of Bocas del Toro — now, over 5 years later, they’re still there with three successful hostels and a lifestyle to kill for.

Luna’s, the newest of the bunch, was in dire need of a site to keep up with its growing business – we teamed up, traded some work for flights and accommodation, and I headed to Panama for 10 days. Six weeks after returning to the States, I quit my desk job of 2 years and ventured back to Panama with my laptop in tow. I worked from their hostels over the next 4 months, continuing a variety of projects while traveling through the country and beyond.  A new working lifestyle was born.
