We are happy to share that our 2019 Annual Report has been published (just a hair past our goal date of March! We’re giving ourselves this win, in light of the whole global pandemic thing.) This report documents our successes in 2019, serves as our annual benefit report for the year, and outlines areas where Mangrove can grow even stronger in 2020. We are a celebratory bunch, and milestones matter—both business and personal ones. Now is as good a time as any to embrace some good news and take pride in our 2019 achievements. Here are a few highlights:
- We completed our B Corp recertification and our score jumped from 80.7 to 91.3 when we recertified.
- 67% of our revenue in 2019 came from purpose-driven organizations, including fellow B Corps, social enterprises, non-profits, and woman- or minority- owned businesses.
- Over 75% of our core team identify as female or non-binary. Over 30% identify as people of color.
- We changed our philanthropic commitment from 2-3% of annual net profits to 1% of annual revenue—a significant increase for us.
