A fresh, functional website helped this independent school look ahead positively to the post-pandemic era, amplifying its core values of love, justice, innovation, and impact. Prospect Sierra delivers groundbreaking education to TK-8th graders from their breathtaking El Cerrito, California campus. Students get daily opportunities to engage in meaningful academic learning that allows them to gain self-knowledge and compassion for others. As a diverse and inclusive community, students experience a joyful environment that fosters a lifelong passion for learning.
The Ask
The Prospect Sierra team approached us to rebuild the school’s website, which had become dated in design and functionality. The school desired a site that could create an emotional connection with students as virtual classrooms began planning to transition back to in-person learning. The team responsible for content management also wanted to be able to edit the site more easily to keep it engaging and dynamic.
The Solution
Bringing together partners that included content and design specialists to work with our Mangrove development team, we built a customized WordPress site that will meet the growing needs of Prospect Sierra’s admin team. Using captivating visuals that underscore compelling messaging, the school now has a site that conveys its vibrant and embracing community.
We created a set of custom modules in the website’s back end in response to the school’s request to make it easier for them to add new, vibrant pages. The school’s internal team can mix and match the modules to create new pages that will continue showcasing the school’s values and accomplishments, inviting prospective students and their parents to find out more.
