When the founders of Just Futures started their organization, they wanted to create a retirement planning platform that simplified the process for nonprofit administrators and focused on regenerative investing. Their vision is clear: a financial system that creates value for people, communities, and the planet—not just for a privileged few.

Retirement planning at Just Futures uses modern tech that allows for flexible plan design and the option for participants to make hands-on decisions about their investments. Beyond retirement planning, Just Futures specializes in asset and impact fund management.

When Just Futures first reached out to us, they were keen to create a website that would reflect who they are and what they offer. In collaboration with Dearborn Strategies and Flight Design, we developed a tailored and accessible WordPress site that is easy to navigate and understand. With this site, Just Futures is ready to handle any expansion needs as they become necessary.

Champions of financial empowerment: Blend 

Blend is a cloud-based banking platform that helps banks and lenders create a less stressful, more accessible lending experience. Blend actively contributes to a healthier financial future for millions by streamlining financial services, enhancing transparency, making information more accessible, and demystifying complex financial choices such as purchasing a home.

We worked with Blend to create a series of new templates and front-end components for their primary website and to update its design. Our collaboration also included the development of two microsites. By working closely with their design, development, and marketing teams, we’ve kept their website up-to-date and running smoothly and fostered a strong relationship of mutual inspiration and collaboration.

Propellers of health for everyone: Adjuvant Capital

Adjuvant is a venture capital firm, focused on funding innovative life science technologies to tackle major public health challenges. Born from the Global Health Investment Fund, which was established by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Adjuvant seizes opportunities in often overlooked markets. Their mission? Use venture capital strategies to support the most promising public health technologies and make sure they reach those who need them.

Beyond delivering financial returns to investors, Adjuvant’s investments in solutions for infectious diseases, maternal and child health, nutrition, and reproductive health aim to ensure that essential health solutions are accessible in areas of greatest need.  

Leveraging their knowledge of the impact-investing sector, Manoverboard (now a part of Mangrove), designed a distinct brand identity and digital presence that underscore Adjuvant’s credibility and unique impact on the investment and global health landscape.

Positive banking trailblazers: Beneficial State Foundation 

Beneficial State Foundation is an advocacy organization and the nonprofit shareholder of Beneficial State Bank, a certified B Corp. Their values-driven mission is to create a more socially just and environmentally sustainable banking system.

Priorities and programs at Beneficial State include the Clean Vehicle Assistance Program, which provides grants and affordable financing to help make clean vehicles more attainable. The foundation also focuses on underwriting for racial justice, with the aim of making credit more accessible to people rising out of longstanding systemic inequities and barriers.

Our team collaborated with Beneficial State to create a website that positions the organization as a thought leader and advocacy resource. Working with Diverge Labs, our content strategy partner, we were able to concisely convey the organization’s large body of work. The result is a beautiful, user-friendly website that communicates its impact and provides internal flexibility for content updates by their team.

Economic inequity investigator: Is Our Economy Fair?  

The Take on Wall Street campaign was launched in 2016 to address the predatory economic power of big banks and billionaires and to build a financial system that works for everyone. TOWS is now a coalition of over 50 groups hosted by Americans for Financial Reform.

Is Our Economy Fair? enhances a key element of Take on Wall Street’s curriculum—a dynamic and interactive timeline showcasing pivotal moments in history that have shaped the DNA of the American economy. This transformation makes the timeline more accessible to a broader audience.

When we first connected with the Take on Wall Street team, they had powerful written content, slides, imagery and teaching modules, but they were ready to bring them into the digital world. The final site is loaded with unique functionalities and interactive elements, including SVG (scalable vector graphic) animations which bring the content to life. Horizontal scrolling helps organize the breadth of content and, when combined with the right instructional elements, lets users move through the site in a rich and meaningful way.
