Charitable organizations and impact-driven businesses need powerful digital tools and communications to thrive, now more than ever. That belief helped propel us through 2025, a year that wasn’t easy for many people we know and love.

Each time we write our annual report, it’s a valuable chance to look back at how we spent our year and reflect on whether our actions matched our intentions of using this business as a force for good. It’s also a chance to think about what’s next.

Here are a few highlights from our 2025 annual report — an account of our work from the year and our commitment to keep on keeping on.

Building sites for impactful work

Foundations and nonprofits play a critical role in our society, funding ideas, research, and social impact. A meaningful part of our work last year (and this year, too!) centered on helping foundations and nonprofits build real capacity through technology: creating sustainable digital infrastructure that makes programs easier to find, resources easier to use, and ideas easier to communicate. You’ll find several of these sites in our featured work this year.

Our values, by the numbers

We donated over 200 pro bono hours to nonprofit organizations in 2025, including our work on the RGD AccessAbility site, and gave 2.28% of our gross revenue to charitable organizations like Girls Who Code, surpassing our 1% goal.

96.5% of our business came from purpose-driven or woman-, non-binary-, or BIPOC-led organizations, and 80% of our team identifies as female or non-binary. We also offset 100% of our GHG emissions, through our partnership with Offset Alliance.

Showing up in community

We made it a goal in 2025 to show up in the community, both online and offline. That goal shows up clearly in our report’s ‘Team highlights” section.

Both Maiya and Andrew took part in opportunities throughout the year, including panels, webinars, committee work, and mentorship events, sharing the value of working together. Maiya joined a panel at BLD Bay Area with fellow B Corp founders and WeTheChange leaders, talking through collective action and doing better by relying on each other. Continuing that theme, Andrew spoke as part of fellow B Corp Mightybytes’ Navigating Chaos webinar series, helping community members find tools for leading through uncertainty.

Andrew also joined RGD’s board of directors, supporting their Certification Committee and work on accessibility and sustainability, and Maiya spent time mentoring the next generation of coders with Girls Who Code.

Looking ahead

In 2026, we’ll take thoughtful next steps and continue the work already underway. We plan to be more deliberate and principled with the way we use AI, and invest in learning across the team, so we can continue guiding our clients towards what’s most valuable for them.

We also want to champion women-owned and purpose-driven organizations through mentorship and partnership, expand our work with 1% for the Planet and the wider B Corp community, and find ways to grow our team with intention, while preserving the collaborative, values-driven culture that we’ve built.
