We follow coding best practices to prioritize site performance. We assess and minimize js, css, fonts, animation size, image size, and more to optimize load time for each page.

Developing on a staging environment allows for more controlled edits, updates, and debugging in a private, secure environment. Approvals are always made on staging before pushing new features to live environments.

All websites are designed and built per accessibility best practices. Additional levels of accessibility implementation are available, such as conformance to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level A or AA.

Website security is vital (especially on WordPress), and we build all sites to guard against common site attacks or code injections. We use only necessary trusted plugins, require our sites to be on secure hosting, and run site checks frequently for added protection. For clients with more sensitive data or security needs, more stringent measures can be taken.

We test every site for compatibility with multiple web browsers, responsive views, and ensure that the display matches the design mockups and wireframes provided by our designers.

It all comes together at the website launch, and multiple team members are on hand to ensure a smooth operation. Although we can almost do this in our sleep by now, we have detailed checklists and skilled team members tending to every step of the launch process.

We provide a 1-hour training to all clients, before launch, on how to make copy edits, add new pages and posts, and swap images on the site. We also provide a written instruction manual, customized to your site to reference at any time.
